WDC Group served as both architects and construction managers for the adaptive re-use of a former fraternity house. Located in the center of Wittenberg University Campus, in Springfield, Ohio, this 10,000 square feet facility serves as the focal point for alumni and visitors to the University. Offices were also provided for alumni affairs, advancement, fundraising, alumni records, Wittenberg Fund and administration. The project included complete interior demolition, restoration of finishes, new HVAC, electrical and computer systems designs and material installations. A complete exterior restoration included masonry tuckpointing, limestone replacements and water proofing. All windows and roofing was replaced with the historically appropriate material. Project was completed on time with change orders amounting to 1.7% of the construction cost.
