Widener Design & Construction Group served as both the architect and construction manager for new bus service facility located in on the campus of Southeastern Local School in Chillicothe, Ohio. The 6,000 square foot pre-engineered post frame structure included three vehicle bays, with one drive thru, for school buses, a cold storage bay, tool rooms, restroom, and office for the transportation director. The project included site work consisting of a new asphalt parking entrance, rear bus parking area with plug-ins for buses, a fuel tank area, areas, and a pump station and oil interceptor for the waste and sanitary system, bringing electrical, water, gas, cable and telephone service to the new building. WDC Group coordinated 7 contractors and the project was completed on schedule. Total project budget was estimated at $450,000.
