WDC Group served as the architect and provided floor and site plans and specifications for the new salt storage facility located in Xenia, Ohio. The project consisted of a pre-engineered wood building system that was anchored to an 18' high cast-in-place concrete retaining walls with an asphalt shingled roof structure above. The bottom of the truss of the roof structure has a height of 25'-0” to accommodate “semis” unloading their goods. Limited electrical work was involved. The structure also included wings (overhangs) that were capable of supporting the salt hoppers w hen not in use.
