WDC Group served as both the architect and construction administrator for the design and construction of the new salt storage building located on the grounds of the county engineer. The project consisted of a pre-engineered wood building, asphalt roofing, and limited electrical work. Because of the corrosive nature of salt, the pre-engineered building system required stainless steel fasteners and connectors. The wood structure itself was situated on an eight foot high concrete retaining wall. The total project budget for the structure was $310,000.
